Insulation gasket kit for general applications and different metals

The flange isolation kit FIK 4 with PGE insulating gasket provides high dielectric reliability in general industrial applications, even in the presence of dissimilar metals joints. Ideal for systems where galvanic corrosion represents a real risk.

The fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin insulating gasket, combined with spring-energized PTFE seals (or plain PTFE or O-Ring seals - on request), ensures effective sealing and leak resistance at pressures up to 80 bar.

Perfect for installations with joints between dissimilar metals, non-aggressive industrial applications, water lines and HVAC systems, or systems requiring electrical insulation and galvanic protection.

  • Versatile solution for standard systems: due to its flexible construction, FIK 4 insulation gasket kit is the perfect choice for non-severe applications where electrical insulation, moderate chemical resistance (pH 2-12), and prevention of flange corrosion are still required.

The kit includes:
Insulating gasket (1 pc): insulating gasket made of fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin with the insertion of a Teflon seal – spring-energized (optional plain Teflon gasket) or O-Ring on both sides. This gasket type is widely used to prevent corrosion of sealing elements in flanged joints. Its specially designed profile helps eliminate any potential fluid leakage.
Isolating sleeve (1 per bolt): made of G10/G11 epoxy resin or phenolic resin, depending on the required service conditions.
Isolating washers (2 per bolt): made of G10/G11 epoxy resin or phenolic resin, depending on the required service conditions.
Protective washers (2 per bolt): made of zinc-coated carbon steel or AISI 316 stainless steel, depending on the required service conditions.
