Flange Insulation Kit for Non-Heavy-Duty Applications
The Flange Insulation Kit (insulating gaskets) FIK 1 with UNIVERSAL 400 gasket ensures electrical insulation in non-heavy-duty operating conditions with low temperatures, medium pressures and non-corrosive or non-toxic fluids.
Due to the asbestos-free gasket UNIVERSAL 400, the kit offers good mechanical properties and high versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial installations.
- Min/Max Temperature: -40 to +350 °C
- Max Pressure: 100 bar
- Ideal for low-criticality systems: FIK 1 is designed for use in non-extreme operating conditions, where operational continuity, electrical insulation and protection against galvanic corrosion between flanged joints are still required.

The kit includes:

| Insulating sleeve (nr.1 per bolt): | made of phenolic and/or epoxy resin, depending on the required service conditions. |
| Insulating washers (nr.2 per bolt): | made of phenolic and/or epoxy resin, depending on the required service conditions. |
| Protective washers (nr.2 per bolt): | made of zinc-coated carbon steel or AISI 316 stainless steel, depending on the required service conditions. |
