Flange Insulation Kit for Applications with Corrosive Fluids
The Flange Insulation Kit (insulating gasket) FIK 2 with modified PTFE gasket BLUON 7030/G is designed for the electrical insulation of flanged joints in the presence of chemically aggressive fluids, whether acidic or basic, across the full pH 0÷14.
Due to the excellent chemical and mechanical properties of BLUON 7030/G, this kit guarantees maximum corrosion resistance, high sealing performance and dielectric effectiveness even under critical conditions.
Ideal for chemical plants and industrial environments with a high risk of corrosion.

- Max pressure: 80 bar
- Applications with aggressive fluids: perfect for pipelines carrying corrosive chemicals such as strong acids, bases, and other reactive compounds. Ideal in all sectors where chemical compatibility is crucial.
- BLUON 7030/G insulating gasket: the modified PTFE ensures chemical resistance across the full pH range (0÷14), with excellent performance at cryogenic temperatures (-200 °C) and high temperatures (up to +260 °C).
- Targeted protection: upon request, for particularly aggressive applications, we offer sleeves and washers made of pure virgin PTFE: an ideal choice to protect studs and nuts from chemical attack in case of accidental leakage. This customized configuration increases the lifespan of the flanged joint and reduces corrosion risks even in the most critical environments.
The kit contains:

| Insulating washers (no. 2 per stud): | made of phenolic and/or epoxy resin or PTFE, depending on the operating conditions of the intended service |
| Protective washers (no. 2 per stud): | made of zinc-plated carbon steel, AISI 316 stainless steel, or HCS depending on the operating conditions of the intended service |
