The certified Flange Isolation Kit (flange insulation kit) FIK 6, with camprofile gasket with THERMÌCA 1000 coating, has been designed to ensure electrical insulation and reliable sealing in extreme operating conditions, where traditional gaskets fail: up to +1000 °C temperature and up to 450 bar pressure.
Due to the combination of AISI 316 stainless steel and THERMÌCA 1000 insulating gasket, the Flange insulation gasket kit is able to withstand intense thermal stress, aggressive chemicals, acid fumes and highly corrosive environments, ensuring maximum reliability even with ring joint flanges (R, BX, RX) without requiring modifications.
This flange insulation gasket kit is perfect for high-temperature processes, engine exhaust lines, turbochargers, chemical and catalytic plants, thermoelectric power stations, and flows involving acids or corrosive gases.

Applications
The FIK 6 flange insulation gasket kit is designed for use with nitric acid (HNO₃) at +400 °C, on reactors above +400 °C, catalytic processes above +800 °C, for all applications in exhaust systems of combustion engines and units such as turbochargers, thermoelectric power plants, and acid fumes.
The kit includes:
| Insulating gasket (1 pc): | Composite insulating gasket in AISI 316 stainless steel (Duplex or Alloy grades available upon request) coated on both faces with a layer of THERMÌCA 1000. The actual sealing element is a camprofile core coated with THERMÌCA 1000. This gasket’s distinctive feature - due to its excellent mechanical resistance and special design - allows installation on ring joint flanges (R; BX or RX) without the need for modifications or structural adjustments to the kit. |
